The venn diagram does imply that the opposite of “handsome” is “nerdy” which is somewhat controversial seeing as the term nerd has nothing to do with how one may look or dress themselves. They have obviously utilised the term in a bastardised fashion to imply the appearance of your “stereotypical nerd boy”. That is to say, large glasses, a pocketed shirt complete with pocket protector tucked into high-hoisted pants, buck teeth, ever-wheezing asthmatic anti-socialite.
The term nerd is very subjective but it can be agreed that it does not truly make any statement on the physical appearance of any boy or girl. That said the term handsome is just as subjective, but actually suitable for the uses of the graphic.

I’m really not sure why he posted this.
He is saying that men who are handsome, smart and nice are gay. I assume he thought it was funny.

I gotta tell you all, you’re looking at this graph in all the wrong ways.
The is a humourous graphic made for heterosexual women who are in the dating game. The outer circles are characteristics that a lady looks for in her man. However, the intersections are the unfortunate consequences of these combinations that would lead to the woman not wanting to date such a guy.
e.g. If she finds a smart and handsome man it’ll turn out he’s a jerk (oh no!)
If she happens to find the perfect amalgamation of all three she shall be all excited to discover this perfect specimen…only to find out he’s gay and therefore totally unavailable.
It is not in fact an opinion on gay people but merely a pessimistic outlook on the trials of finding your perfect man!

The link for the original post leads to a 404, but I was previously given a reblog train of it involving the OP and holypeaches. However, the original post only makes reference to the issue at hand. I’d need the beginning of the conflict to assess the situation as a passive third party. It would be unreasonable for me not to!
